Der samlast me fyrst i heimen til Knut Horvei, "Slottet", og heldt fram i ungdomshuset på Bolstad. Ungdomslaget hadde lagt upp til eit storfeldt program, der folkehøg- skulestyrar Ingjald Bolstad var hovudtalaren. Elles var det ei hyggeleg bordseta, mykje song, musikk og talar, og frå Vestmannalaget bar Ludv. Jerdal fram helsing og minneord. Eit strålande ver var og med og skapte festdåm yver dagen. Det var berre synd at so få frå Vestmannalaget hadde hØve til å vera med.</ins></div></td></tr>

Ho vart gravlagd frå Voss kyrkja den 2. september, og frå Vestmannalaget møtte fleire av dei eldre medlemene upp. Det vart lagd ned krans frå Vestmanna- laget ved formannen, og han bar ogso fram takkeord til den mangeårige tillitsmannen og heiderslagsmannen Ingerd Hirth.</ins></div></td></tr>

Møteverksemdi hev gjenge i same leid som åri fyrr, med fyredrag og handskrive blad på kvart møte. Ein trufast lagsflokk hev møtt upp på møti, og mange ikkje-medlemer hev ogso vore med når dei hev funne program som fengjer. Difor hev me ofte vore uppe i umlag 30 møtedeltakarar, og det er me vel nøgde med no i ei tid då dei andre bygdelagi hev vanskar med å samla folk til sine lagsmøte.<BR><BR></ins></div></td></tr>
